WanaData is a pan-African network of over 700 female data experts, including scientists, journalists, and technologists in 5+ African countries. Our community is dedicated to generating and advocating for data-driven projects while leveraging digital technologies in storytelling. Our mission at WanaData is to enhance networks among African women and foster their socio-economic empowerment which we achieve by unlocking gender data, amplifying voices through data journalism, accelerating career growth, and fostering expertise in technology, data science, and data journalism.
