Module 4 Lesson 4: Handling Trolls

Introduction

Despite recent efforts by service providers to curb the spread of fake news and handle malicious users, which is a very difficult task, there does not seem to be much progress. The rate at which fake and bot accounts are created and used to cause problems for users does not seem to be reducing. We must therefore assume that at some point, we will be faced with these issues, and must be prepared to handle them when they come.

2. Use common responses and tools to protect themselves from online harassment
